I find it cheeky to state that the item will be delivered the same evening, or the next day if ordered in the afternoon. It's not true. I ordered it yesterday Thursday morning for the evening and now the post office says it won't come until Monday. In my case, I had to do something and my old drive broke. I ordered here because of the delivery date. If I had known, I would have bought the drive somewhere else by now and had it available today and the weekend. This is the second time it has happened. In principle, I have no problem if the delivery takes a little longer, but then I have to know. I don't think it's right to give false information about delivery times. You can always say "1-3 days" or whatever, but it has to be correct.

Can you connect this to an ipad mini to watch dvd?

No, that's not possible. There probably isn't such a DVD drive, and the corresponding software/app is also missing to be able to play a DVD on the iPad at all. The alternative will be a streaming service where you can download the series/movies to play them later or offline. Netflix, for example, can do this and this service can be cancelled monthly.

In Windows Media Player, the drive is only displayed when there is a CD/DVD in it. How does it look in Windows Explorer, is the drive shown there ? Is the drive shown in the "Device Manager" ?
