Does it work with Samsung Galaxy Watch 7?

Helpful answer

Difficult to answer, according to the Samsung list, ANT+ devices are compatible with the Watch7, but it is not known whether all data is transmitted.
Garmin only guarantees full compatibility with its own Garmin devices.
It is best to try it out with a chest strap from a colleague...

Have a look in the Watch7 settings... compatible devices are listed under "Accessories".
Good luck!

The strap of the Garmin HRM-Pro Plus cannot be replaced separately. It is an integrated piece that is modulated together with the Heart Rate Monitor. If the strap becomes defective, a completely new strap must be purchased.

I have an Enduro 2 (similar to the Fenix7x) and always use the chest strap for sports (jogging and cycling). The strap records interesting additional data and the heart rate data is much less susceptible to interference. The watch alone is sufficient for hiking.

Yes, it's ok. I don't do it very regularly, but I've never had any problems. Just rinse it off in the shower at the end.

The problem is that it tends to slip off when you swim faster (if you're not wearing a wetsuit or swimskin). If you want to use it regularly for swimming, I would buy the swim version, which holds better in the water with the wide strap.

Hello Z_ch
Unfortunately, Bosch does not provide a list of compatible devices: https://www.bosch-ebike.com/at/help-center/asset-asf-00120

However, since the HRM Pro Plus supports Bluetooth and Ant+, I assume that it works with Bosch Kiox
works (via Bluetooth).

According to this forum, it also works:

No, you're not the only one. I already have the third one and the problem was or is the same with all of them. I threw the first one away because I thought I was being too imprecise with the cleaning. I've had other and older models before, but they never had this problem. So I bought a new one. But it stinks too, just as you describe. I then enquired with Garmin. They put me off with special washing instructions. Strange, isn't it? Of course, this didn't help. I then complained to Galaxus and Garmin. I then received a replacement by return of post. But, as you can imagine, it stinks too. Well, I now live with the fact that wealth stinks and therefore we who can afford such expensive sensors have to pay for it ;D
