Fibaro smoke sensor
Fibaro smoke sensor
It uses 1xCR123, and only transmits via Z-Wave
With the HomeAssistant software on a Raspberry Pi (there are also other solutions), several such sensors can be operated in a network/ring. So if one sensor blows, the other sensors also whistle loudly.
Caution: According to my information, the model is not a Homekit-compatible version. However, I have not found a Homekit version https://www.fibaro.com/de/homekit/
Hello! I mean the smoke detector is only compatible with the Fibaro Home Center. A list of Home Kit compatible Fibaro components can be found here: https://www.fibaro.com/de/homekit/
Hi DeepWather No, this cannot be operated via WLAN. It needs a Z-Wave capable base station. Either Fibaro's own "Home Center" or a third-party product that supports this Z-Wave item, such as the Piper smart home camera.
