I am using it with my Mac Book Pro 2016 with no issues.

Since the ASUS Vivobook 15 has a USB-C port, this adapter can be connected.
I have never used it on a surface but have used it on other PCs than Dell. I don't think it should cause any compatibility problems.
may work, but the Surface Pro does not have a USB-C port and the adapter is designed for USB-C.
Yes. I actually bought it for a Dell XPS 13. Works just fine, excellent travel adapter. But as @Kolebar said, this is not exactly a docking station.
Hello I have no direct experience with the Surface. I need the Dell adapter on the Macbook and all interfaces work perfectly. It also works perfectly on my Windows 10 PC. LG
I had 4K/60Hz, so yes it's definitely 1440p too
HDMI 1.4
Hello Captcoma I use the adapter for my Macbook and I have also used it on x other computers (Sony Vario, Dell, HP, IBM ). So far it has been compatible everywhere. What it lacks is the USB-C interface at the output, so that you can still charge the Macbook at the same time. LG
Detach the ribbon cable from the back of the adapter and plug it into the second slot from the front (the one with the lightning bolt) on the left side of the notebook. The Dell logo on the adapter should then be facing upwards. Voila!
Yes , excellent
This adapter fits the Dell XPS 13 and can be connected to the USB-C / Thunderbolt port. I have been using the adapter for a year and the connections and signal transmission have worked well everywhere so far. I can recommend the adapter.
Hello, I also have a MacBook Pro. Ethernet works for me. Except once I think there was a loose contact. USB also works fine. I have not used VGA. HDMI does NOT work with high resolution monitors! The performance is not sufficient. I had to buy another adapter.
Sorry, cannot answer this question. Me think that a corresponding driver would be required!
Dell is Windows-oriented and, as far as I know, does not sell Apple products, which means that this adapter cannot be used with a MacBook.
I am currently abroad. The part has not been used yet, so I can't answer the question. I have been using a very similar product with external power supply for 1 1/2 years, but USB and not USB-C, and I use it to power USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices and it works wonderfully. Why not contact Dell?
I haven't had any problems with compatibility yet, but the part didn't work at the beginning. I had to update the bios. Now everything is flawless.
The article has Gigabit, respectively 1000 MBps.
45g, driver must be downloaded and installed with commandeline, VGA/internet ok, USB does not recognise all flashdrives. Greetings. R.Dewarrat, ZH
