Hello, does anyone know whether this sound card can be used to record audio from sources that are played back "directly" in the system (i.e. not via a line input cable)? I would like to make audio recordings from audio sources that are currently running directly on the PC. I have Windows 11, thanks in advance and regards

I bought a Sound Blaster Audigy Fx (PCI-Ex1) for my (then) new computer in Dec. 2018 and it is still running successfully today, now with Windows 11. However, I only use the Sound Blaster as an input and output port, I don't (know and) use any other functions. However, I have found that not all audio software works fully with the Soundblaster, but this does not depend on the operating system.
