For the second time, Corsair products have failed on me. The first time it was a defective RAM. Now it's a power supply unit. Are there other customers who have had negative experiences with Corsair?
Unfortunately, we in the community cannot answer such a question. The questions, answers and discussions should explicitly refer to the products and their function. Your power supply unit has this 100%. So when replacing the mainboard, simply plug it in again, as the previous mainboard also had this.
No problem! 750W is more than enough for high-end constellations! In addition, the Corsair RM is probably the most reliable power supply on the market.
Hello, this power supply works with any mainboard as the connections are standardised. You just have to check if it has enough connectors for your pc, e.g. if it has an 8pin for the xi formula and 4pin for the CPU.
So it's been working perfectly for me for years. Either: 1. power supply unit is broken 2. you did a lot of dangerous things wrong when you installed it (I imagine this is difficult) 3. your house installation has a problem Try with only MB and a minimum of additional devices and then add more and more, this at least gives an indication if the number of devices (e.g. Graka) could be a problem. Good luck
Hello, The Corsair RM650i power supply would be sufficient. You need about 550 watts. I have a similar PC: https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/ProductRating/empfehlenswert-240374
Hello Xkukurusa When I ordered, the box was black. I assume that the colour was not changed in the range.
Yes, please contact the customer service directly. Normally a suitable cable is supplied later.
Basically, yes. And it's an excellent power supply: semi-passive, the fan hardly ever needs to run. So it's completely silent. But there's a problem in choosing your CPU, the Skylake 7700k won't work with a z370 cm, you'd need a coffelake 8700k or a z270 chipset based motherboard. To choose I'd take the 8700k for its 6 cores and 12 threads. It's up to you. And then the PSU offers single or multi rail, selection able in the Corsair Link. Good stuff.
Hi. The power cable means the AC power cable. But there is also a modular DC cable set included. Here are the more detailed specifications: http://www.corsair.com/de-de/rmi-series-rm850i-850-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-fully-modular-psu Whether additional cables are needed depends on the individual configuration. Hope this helps
Cables for the following connections are included: 1 x ATX 1 x EPS 2 x Floppy 7 x 4-pin Peripheral 4 x PCI-E 8 x SATA
I still have the 850W power supply unit and the cables were black sleeved and not too bad quality for me.
The community cannot help you with this [2]. Please contact the customer service [1]. [1] https://www.digitec.ch/de/Information/ContactInformation [2] https://www.digitec.ch/de/Wiki/4490
Could be enough... but since I don't know how much juice the overclocked CPU draws, I would rather recommend 700/750W. That way, the power supply won't run at the power limit.
