No you cannot scan to USB , scans go under photo scann No it is not low volume, if you use it once a month the cartridges dry out

Honestly, I only use Wifi and I am not happy with this printer, I have already sent it in for repair but now it still prints badly and I have to throw it away. I have not tried the other functions - regards lorenzetti

Hi Usb cable is not available, but it is really easier to connect these printers with RJ-45 or wifi. You need a cable with Usb port B
