Hello BennySpaceman As far as I understand the difference DCPL2530DWG1 vs. DCPL2530DWC1 is the supplier of the device. The "G1" device comes from Germany, is configured for Germany, i.e. can only speak German (menu of the device). A German mains cable may also be included and an adapter must be used. The "C1" unit is configured for Switzerland, so the language can be set to German, French, Italian or English on the unit. You will certainly have fewer problems with the warranty, as it is not an "import", which only has a 1-year warranty with the Swiss branch of brother. Greetings

Is a toner included?

Yes, a toner is supplied, but these are usually only starter kit toners, which do not have the same filling quantities as toners that you have to buy later.

I am not a member of Team Digitec, but I have bought this device and am using it. With the Brother software "Control Center 4", which is used as standard for scanning, you can scan in various formats, including PDF and JPG, whereby you can also select the resolution, colour depth, etc. (If your question refers to "direct scanning" by pressing a button on the machine, I can unfortunately give you a reliable answer. (If your question refers to "direct scanning" by pressing a button on the machine, I cannot give you any reliable information because I do not use this. But I would be surprised if you were limited in the scan formats there).

Hello Anonymous Personally, I would not attach a fine dust filter. As long as you use original toner, I don't think there is any reason to. I think the manufacturers are very aware of the issue and cannot afford bad publicity. Generally, Tesa offers appropriate filters. You have to find out for yourself whether there is a suitable one for this model. The ventilation opening where warm air escapes is on the right side of the unit and measures approx. 9 x 8 cm (w x h). My personal experience: If the place of installation is already dirty, more dirt will automatically collect in the filter :-) / If the place is clean and well-maintained, the filters are usually only slightly dirty. = They simply filter the air in the room... Greetings
