After about 1.5 years of use, does anyone also have lag/stuttering when they start switching? The problem is then either on the left or right or on both computers.

Most of the time, however, the device no longer works on my PC. After switching between laptop and PC about 10 times, the PC suddenly can no longer recognise the peripherals (keyboard and mouse) (Windows reports a "not recognised" error). So far, the only thing that helps is to restart the PC and then it works again (logically?). On the laptop, it has never had problems recognising the devices until now.
