this thing on the picture is apparently a tablet / digitizer - "overgrown touchpad" with a stylus for a graphical work (drawing, writing etc). They come with USB interface

The symbol probably refers to an external touch screen that requires a USB connection for the touch function in addition to the HDMI or DP connection.
