The Arcana Video Switch/Audio Switch is a specialized adapter designed to optimize audio and video transmission between HDMI sources and eARC-compatible sound systems. Supporting HDMI 2.0b, the device enables full audio/video passthrough with a data transfer rate of up to 18 Gbit/s and a bandwidth of 600 MHz, ensuring smooth playback of SDR, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Low Latency Dolby Vision. The adapter transmits high-quality audio formats, including Dolby Atmos and TrueHD, from any HDMI source to SONOS Arc or other eARC sound systems. Additionally, it resolves common synchronization issues, such as lip-sync problems when using external HDMI sources connected to eARC TVs. The integrated CEC control allows the TV to be used as a remote control for the connected sources. The Arcana adapter acts as a bridge between older HDMI sources and modern eARC sound systems, enabling seamless integration into existing home theater setups.
