With this battery shield, you can power your ESP8266 for mobile applications. To achieve longer runtimes, it is important to put the ESP8266 into deep sleep mode and only wake it up when necessary. All our LiPos with a JST 2mm connector can be connected to the shield. The charging current from the LiPo is set to 0.5A by default and can be increased to 1A with a solder bridge. This revised version of the battery shield is also a bit more energy-efficient than its predecessor.
