Product details

This keypad shield is perfect for initial attempts to control a display with an Arduino. The 5 buttons are also practical, allowing you to easily implement a menu navigation system. To control the display, you can find "LiquidCrystal" in the Library Manager. You can install this library to manage the display. When initializing LiquidCrystal, you need to use the following command to ensure the pin assignments are correct: LiquidCrystal lcd(8,9,4,5,6,7); All 5 control buttons connect to the analog input A0, which saves significant input pins that you can use for your project. When one of the buttons is pressed, a voltage can also be measured at the A0 input, which varies for each button.

The following connection pins are occupied by the shield:
A0 Button (select, up, right, down, and left)
D4 DB4

D6 DB6
D7 DB7
