With this cascading 8x8 LED matrix module, you can easily control the 64 LEDs. The control is done via 3 pins (DIN, CS, CLK), and multiple modules can be easily connected together. There is already a ready-made library for control that you can add in the Arduino IDE. You can find the library in the Library Manager by searching for "LedControl." Then, under the examples, you will find the sketch LCDdemoMatrix. The pin headers are only included with this module and need to be soldered on. However, soldering is not a big deal and can be done in 5 minutes.
