These light modifiers are also known as "Beauty Dishes," and their name already indicates their intended purpose. They create a unique light that allows photographers to highlight the beauty of their subjects. The light is soft yet so accentuated that it appears completely natural. This makes the Softlight Reflector ideal for photographing people. It produces a flawless, natural look with slightly accentuated shadows, making it perfect for portrait and fashion photography.

In its silver version, the reflector provides a stronger, more contrasted light than the white variant, which produces a softer and more even light. Both can be used with all Profoto light sources. The Softlight Reflector is available both as a standalone unit and in a kit that includes a 25° honeycomb grid and a diffuser.
