The Plugable USB 2.0 to 10/100 Network Adapter provides fast Ethernet connectivity via USB, features a compact external design, and is largely compatible thanks to the ASIX AX88772 chipset. Two LEDs monitor power and link activity. Support for this adapter is built into the Nintendo Wii and Wii U (no driver required). The wired Ethernet connection through this adapter allows for faster and more reliable streaming of Netflix, downloading games, and network access compared to the Wii's built-in Wi-Fi connection (up to 2-3 times faster). 32/64-bit drivers are available for Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000, ME, and 98SE. Drivers are integrated into the Linux kernel 2.6.35 and higher. Mac OS 10.6-10.8.x is supported.
