Product details

The MGB family consists of Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver modules specifically designed for high-performance integrated duplex data connections over single-mode fiber optic. These transceiver modules comply with the SFP Multisource Agreement (MSA) and are hot-pluggable. They provide an easy way to be installed in SFP MSA-compliant ports at any time without interrupting the operation of the host equipment.

The MGB family of SFP Mini-GBIC Gigabit Ethernet modules can be installed in PLANET switch products with SFP Mini-GBIC interfaces. The operating distance can be extended from 100 meters (TP), 550 meters (Multi-Mode, LC), and up to 120 kilometers (Single-Mode, LC).

To meet the growing demand for industrial Ethernet fiber optic solutions, Planet is launching the MGB-T series 1000BASE-SX/LX/BX transceivers, which can operate reliably in electrically harsh environments, climatically challenging conditions, and across a wide temperature range (-40℃ to 75℃). The MGB-T series 1000BASE-SX/LX/BX transceivers provide simple and fast 1000BASE-SX/LX/BX connections for PLANET industrial equipment with a wide temperature range.
