The new Matching Tracks feature in rekordbox DJ now lets you naturally combine tracks you never thought would go together. With 14 beat effects, including 4 new versions, you can get creative and use the performance pads to trigger hot cues, loops, and more at any time. At the center of each jog wheel is a customizable on-jog color LCD screen. Just display only the information you really need, whether it's BPM, waveform, playback position, or hot cue and loop points. Switching to this DJ controller is especially easy, as the panel layout and jog wheels have been carried over from the top NXS2 models and are instantly familiar. Controlling rekordbox DJ with the DDJ-1000 therefore feels just like playing USB drives with an NXS2 setup.

With the new Magvel fader, which is rated for more than 10 million movements, even complicated performances feel easy. In addition, the latencies of the jog wheel and crossfader have once again been significantly reduced through software optimizations. This makes digital scratching more intuitive than ever before. Add texture to your sets with four new beat effects: Enigma Jet, Mobius Saw, Mobius Triangle, and Low Cut Echo, along with 10 of the most popular beat FX from our DJM mixers. In addition, the DDJ-1000 offers four Sound Color effects from the DJM mixer series: Pitch, Filter, Dub Echo, and Noise. Simply tap the 16 backlit rubber performance pads to trigger Hot Cues, Pad Effects, Beat Jump, Sampler, Keyboard Mode, Beat Loop, and Key Shift.
