Pioneer A-40AE

The latest integrated amplifier from Pioneer is based on the original Direct Energy concept and impresses with its newly developed Direct Energy Design, offering a high signal-to-noise ratio and an overwhelming, lifelike soundstage. Features such as the isolated power supply, specially designed large capacitors, Direct function, Power Amp Direct circuit, volume control, and aluminum front panel, along with an MM phono input, ensure a remarkably clear sound, just as the artist intended.

Separate windings for the power amplifier, preamplifier, and controls in the power transformer prevent mutual interference. The main capacitor, which significantly affects the amplifier's audio quality, was developed in collaboration with ELNA. The Pioneer logo on the capacitor winding indicates that it is a pure audio capacitor. The Direct functions of the A-40AE allow for the bypassing of other circuits, except for the volume control. This finely tuned feature enhances musicality for an optimal listening experience. The specially shaped "Anti Standing Wave" decoupling feet, which have no parallel sides, serve to avoid resonance. They ensure precise sound localization and pure sound, while also contributing to a seamless connection between channels and improving performance with fast sounds.
