Pimoroni Pirate Audio HAT for Raspberry Pi, with 3W amplifier for speakers
Product details
Bring an old radio or speaker set into the 21st century with the Pirate Audio 3W Stereo Amplifier for Raspberry Pi. Get powerful digital audio signals through the connectors and control your music via the integrated color LCD and playback control buttons.
With the connectors of the Pirate Audio 3W Stereo Amp, it's super easy to connect a speaker set, whether it's bookshelf or floor-standing speakers, or the speakers from an old radio. Play sharp digital audio data from local files (MP3, FLAC, etc.) or stream from services like Spotify. The combined DAC and amplifier deliver clear digital sound through the connected stereo speakers (or mixed mono through a single channel) with 24-bit / 192 kHz quality.
Pirate Audio is a series of all-in-one audio boards for Raspberry Pi featuring high-quality digital audio, sharp IPS displays for album covers, tactile buttons for playback control, and its own Pirate Audio software, including an installer that makes setup a breeze.
