Product details
A stylish retro arcade cabinet for the Raspberry Pi. The PiCade comes as a kit for self-assembly. All parts, panels, buttons, TFT screen, and components are included in the kit - you only need a Raspberry Pi and a power supply. We recommend at least a Pi2 or Pi3, as these provide enough power for smooth emulation of your favorite games.
The panels of the PiCade are powder-coated black, giving the kit a distinctive look. The chassis also serves as a good soundboard for the included speakers, delivering authentic retro sound! This makes the PiCade the perfect desktop arcade cabinet that you'll never want to put away.
Assembly takes about two hours, and a detailed guide is available online. The only tools you need are a Phillips and a flathead screwdriver. Note: The Raspberry Pi and power supply are not included in the kit. The PiCade is compatible with Raspberry Pi 2, Pi 3, B+, and A+. You will also need a good power supply with 2A or 3A.
