Leise. Braucht starke Zuspieler. Ton gut. Recht ausgewogen, aber etwas dünn mit schlankem Bass, auch etwas wenig Höhen. Komfortabel, selbst im Liegen. Geringe Abschirmung von Außengeräuschen. Starke Schallabstrahlung, störend für Nachbarn. Flachkabel, verknotet nicht. Recht schwer.
Auch wenn der S1 nicht ganz an seinen großen Bruder S2 herankommt, ist er klanglich dennoch sehr gut aufgestellt, wobei hier die Bässe nicht druckvoll spielen. Auch bei den Höhen fehlt etwas die Präzision, wobei aber das Gesamtbild dennoch stimmig ist.
