The Philips TV 32PFS6939/12 combines modern technology with compact dimensions. The Full HD display with an 80 cm diagonal is complemented by a three-sided Ambilight system, which enhances the viewing experience by projecting the colors of the screen content onto the surrounding wall. The device uses the Titan OS as its Smart TV platform, which now also supports Disney Plus. With 8 GB of flash storage and 1.5 GB of RAM, it offers sufficient power for smooth streaming and app usage. However, TimeShift and USB recording functions are not available.

The picture quality benefits from Philips' Pixel Plus HD Engine, which ensures sharper and more detailed representations. The panel supports HDR10 and HLG for improved contrast range and operates at a refresh rate of 60 Hz. In terms of audio, the TV features two 6-watt full-range speakers and supports Dolby Audio as well as Dolby MS12 V2.6.2 for an enhanced sound experience. HDMI-ARC is available on HDMI-1.

Connectivity is provided by WLAN 802.11ac in 2x2 single-band mode, as well as two USB 2.0 ports. All HDMI ports support HDCP 2.3, and HDMI-CEC version 2.0 (EasyLink) simplifies device control. Compared to the previous model 6009, the 32PFS6939/12 stands out with the Ambilight-3 system and improved sound quality. Overall, this television offers a variety of modern features in a compact format, making it well-suited for smaller spaces or as a secondary device.
