PATCHSEE functionality: Two plastic optical fibers (POF) are integrated into the RJ45 patch cables. These fibers are bent 180° in the two connectors. Light is injected from one side into the fibers using a light tool (PATCHLIGHT or PRO-PATCHLIGHT), and you can immediately see the two light points at the respective other end of the cable without having to unplug it. The light tool is simply placed on the back of the boot. The light injection does not affect the data transmission of the cable and is solely for signaling purposes.

Halogen-free sheath: Unlike conventional PVC cables, these cables are halogen-free. The dangerous release of halogen-containing combustion gases is thus excluded, and smoke generation is minimized. Halogen-free cables are also flame-retardant, and there is no dangerous ignition cord effect.

Category 6A: Category 6 augmented (Cat 6A) is a standard that arises from the increased bandwidth requirements of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10 GBASE-T). Cat 6A cables are designed for transmission frequencies up to 500 MHz and distances up to 100 m, and they are backward compatible with existing categories.
