Flat 4x4 MiMo Antenna LGMM4-7-38
The LGMQM4 is a series of high-performance MiMo antennas for 698-3800 MHz as well as 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4 MiMo/Diversity at 2.4/5.0 GHz, including a GNSS antenna. The Panorama LGMQM4 low-profile MiMo antenna series is designed to support the next generation of vehicle LTE routers with 4x4 MiMo. The antenna housing can accommodate up to nine antenna elements.
All versions feature four ultra-wideband elements for 698-3800 MHz, supporting the MiMo functionality for 4G/5G and cellular bands. LG versions provide a GNSS antenna with a 26 dB gain LNA with high-performance filtering for reliable operation. Variants are also available that include 2, 3, or 4 dual-band 2.4/4.9-6 GHz WiFi elements for the MiMo function with the suffix 24-58.
The antenna does not require a metallic ground plane and maintains high performance even when mounted on a non-metallic surface. The GNSS antenna module carries the E11 marking according to ECE R10.4, and the cables are certified according to ECE 118.01.
Although the LTE elements are designed for 4x4 MiMo operation, it is possible to use them as 2 pairs of 2x2 MiMo for a router with 2 SIMs in a failover configuration. Since this configuration only uses 2 of the 4 antennas for a single SIM, network coverage should be checked to ensure that this usage is appropriate.
Instructions for correctly connecting the LTE antennas can be found in the installation manual. Please note: This antenna is not intended for use with a router with 2 SIMs to enable simultaneous or aggregated data operation, as there is insufficient isolation between the MiMo pairs.
