Product details
Due to its compact appearance and light weight, the Nissin i40 can easily be put into any photo or jacket pocket and is thus ready for all situations in a short time. Many people forego the many uses of an external flash during the day because they take up a certain amount of space and limit their comfort of movement. They usually buy this plus in comfort with inflexibility in light control, for example when there is strong backlighting from the sun. The Nissin i40 puts an end to this, because the photographer can have both: Comfort due to the extremely compact design and flexibility in terms of light with all its photographic possibilities. The professional design of the flash head is the latest indication that this little one is one of the greats. It can be swiveled horizontally by 180° to the right and left and tilted by 90°.
The large number of possible setting angles makes indirect flashing easier and more versatile. Advanced users will also benefit from a maximum flash sync speed of up to 1/8000 second when flashing to the second curtain. When photographing moving subjects, this capability can be critical. The total shutter speed range of the i40 is between 1/800 and 1/20000 second. The shorter this is, the more flashes you can fire, ensuring even flash illumination. Very fast shutter speeds are interesting, for example, for portrait photographers who also want to use the flash in daylight and at the same time want to use a large aperture for a small depth of field. Not at all self-evident for such a compact flash is the integrated LED video light. Nissin is thus specifically addressing the trend of video functions in still cameras. This makes it possible to shoot respectable film sequences without a separate video light, for up to 3.5 hours with full batteries or rechargeable batteries. The strength of the LED light can be adjusted in 9 steps to suit individual needs.
