- Huge zoom range (125x)
- large
- non-slip housing
- large viewfinder
- Visible loss of sharpness in dim light
- Large and heavy
The top-ranked bridge camera is a hefty piece of kit and will be of particular interest to anyone who wants to capture subjects that are really far away. Image quality is decent in daylight, but suffers significantly in low light. However, taking photos of the moon is no problem with the P1100. The Nikon isn’t suited to action shots; at 1.4 frames per second, its continuous shooting is very slow.
