Product details

The Nektar Impact GX49 impresses with a playably responsive velocity-sensitive keyboard, a pitch wheel, and a modulation wheel, as well as backlit octave and transpose buttons. Additional controls include an assignable rotary knob and seven programmable MIDI/MMC transport buttons, each of which can be freely assigned two functions using a SHIFT button. This allows the Impact GX keyboards to excel in every aspect, leaving the competition in this price range far behind.

Particularly outstanding is the direct and deep integration inherited from the Nektar Panorama series with all major DAW software. Supported DAWs include Cubase, Nuendo, Logic, Reason, Bitwig, Studio One, Cakewalk Sonar, Digital Performer, Fruity Loops, Garageband, and Reaper. With a simple press of a button, users gain direct access to the mixer of the connected DAW as well as to the integrated instruments and effects, whether they are internal or third-party plugins. Such direct control is not possible with any other USB keyboard in this price category.
