With the 16 pads of the Mikro, you can create music in four different ways. The Pad Mode is designed for beats – with color coding for kicks, snares, and other sounds. Melodies are played in Keyboard Mode. Chord Mode focuses on inspiring chord progressions. And in Step Mode, beats and patterns are built with the 16 pads in the style of a classic step sequencer – four modes, endless possibilities.

With the Mikro, you can quickly find, preview, and swap sounds while the music keeps playing. Simply select your favorite instrument, load samples, projects, and kits: The compact display of the Mikro always shows what you’re controlling with the multifunctional knob – maximum clarity for your creative flow.

Found a great sample? Just press the Sample button to load it directly from the software into your project. With an audio interface, you can record directly from vinyl, capture a guitar, or grab any other sound. The powerful editing tools of the Maschine software allow you to edit and refine the samples further.

With the Smart Strip, beats and melodies experience a new life. Edit sounds, play like on a guitar, or manipulate with effects like stutter and echo – just glide a finger over the controller.
