The Mushkin Element NVMe SSD supports four PCI-Express lanes of the 3.0 standard. Thanks to the high NAND IO speeds of the 3D NAND memory, the controller only requires four channels to connect to the flash memory. Combined with the built-in 3D NAND, the 1 TB SSD from Mushkin's Element series achieves solid speeds of 2,000 MB/s for reading and 1,600 MB/s for writing.

For quick write operations, the Mushkin Element NVMe SSD features SLC cache. The integrated controller supports the NVMe 1.3 protocol. Additionally, the SSD's memory is kept clean and organized using the NVMe Deallocate function (TRIM). Mushkin guarantees a MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of at least 1 million hours.
