The city is overrun by mutants. A problem? Not for you. Sunset Overdrive is an open-world playground full of post-apocalyptic possibilities. Jump, grind, and run through walls while using a deadly and unconventional arsenal. With hyper-agility, unique weapons, and customizable abilities, it rewrites the rules of shooters while offering a disrespectful adventure. FizzCo has released their new hit energy drink, OverCharge Delirium XT. The only tiny problem is that it has turned everyone who drank it into mutants. You are one of the survivors of Sunset City and must team up with others (at least with those who aren't idiots) to try to escape. Easier said than done. Are you up for the challenge? We hope so. You are not the only one facing the Awesomepocalypse. In Sunset City, you will encounter an eclectic group of factions, each with its own style and story. For example, the Bushido crew, a group of adventurers who adhere to the ancient samurai code. And the Fargarths, live-action role players whose fantasy suddenly becomes their reality. And many more memorable characters that we won't spoil just yet. You are only as good as the company you keep, so it's a good thing you have a full arsenal of deadly and unconventional weapons. The apocalypse has inspired you to find new ways to deal with the mutants and other grotesque creatures in Sunset City. For instance, there's "The Dude," a weapon that fires bouncing bowling balls. Or "Turret Copters," model helicopters equipped with cannons that control the crowd from the air. And the "TNTeddy," a weapon that merges teddy bears with sticks of dynamite. And that's just a small taste.
