Open Value and Open Value company-wide

With Open Value, you can consolidate your company's software needs as well as those of your affiliated companies in the European Union and EFTA states under a single contract. Unlike Open License, Open Value contracts have a three-year term. Software licenses are only available under this model with Software Assurance.

Entry into the Open Value program is possible with as few as five licenses. The Open Value company-wide variant can be completed with a minimum of five qualified devices. License costs under Open Value are generally divided into annual payments. This means you can keep initial costs low without incurring interest charges.

Open Value is available in two variants:

  • Open Value as a model for licensing individual software needs
  • Open Value company-wide as a model for desktop standardization

Desktop standardization means that the company chooses to implement and use a uniform technology platform on personal computers.
