At The Bluecoats: North & South, there are a variety of game modes that allow you to enhance your turn-based strategy, familiarize yourself with real-time combat, and participate in a good old FPS mode. Add a full two-player mode – a must for North and South – and the basics are certainly in place.

• Turn-based strategy map: Take command of operations and move your battalions to conquer new states, attack the enemy, or strengthen your positions.
• Real-time battles: Jump right into the action and face the enemy head-on. Use your infantry, cavalry, and artillery to secure victory. Leverage the strengths of each corps to annihilate your opponent.
• Assault fortresses and trains in FPS mode and defend them. The completely redesigned gameplay puts you in the soldier's shoes. Defend your positions against the intruder or take the initiative by attacking enemy holdings.
