The M5Stack VA Meter is a high-precision, programmable power meter specifically designed for accurate measurement of voltage and current. It is based on the M5StampS3 main control module and features WiFi functionality, allowing for easy integration into IoT applications. With two INA226 measurement circuits connected in series, the device achieves an impressive current detection resolution of 2.5uA and 250uA, while supporting a measurement range of 0-5A and 5-24V (1-24V in isolation mode). Power is supplied via a USB-C interface or the base input, with built-in power and signal isolation for added safety. Users can choose between isolated and non-isolated measurements, enhancing the device's flexibility. The included expansion BASE enables relay control and provides a Grove port for secondary development. Additionally, the VA Meter supports OTA firmware upgrades and USB MSC/OTG functionality, making it easier to process and display data on a PC. M5's free online data API interface allows users to upload test data to the EZData platform and access it remotely, significantly simplifying the development of IoT applications.
