The M5Stack Chain Encoder is an innovative rotary encoder input module specifically designed for the Chain series. Equipped with a powerful STM32G031G8U6 microcontroller, this module enables precise input by detecting rotation direction and pulse counting. The integrated button function enhances interactivity, while the programmable RGB LED (WS2812B) provides visual feedback and status indicators. The encoder's cap features mounting holes compatible with building block systems, allowing for creative structural connections. The module communicates via a UART serial cascading protocol at 115200 bps and can be connected to additional Chain devices through two HY2.0-4P expansion interfaces. The included Chain Bridge Connector facilitates integration into existing Chain systems, making the Chain Encoder ideal for applications in human-machine interaction as well as smart home controls.
