The Ludwig LS90852 14x5.5 Legacy Mahogany Jazz Fest Snare is an outstanding percussion instrument that embodies the tradition and heritage of jazz. Originally introduced in the 1950s as the Buddy Rich Snare, it was renamed the Jazz Fest Snare in the 1960s. This reissue of the classic features an authentic construction with a 3-ply mahogany shell, equipped with round bearing edges and reinforcement rings. The snare is lined with a white resonant head on the inside and features 8 twin lugs as well as a vintage '64 snare bed. The innovative 3-step baseball bat tone control damping system allows for precise sound regulation. The instrument is completed with an elegant Sky Blue Pearl premium wrap finish that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
