The six buttons can be freely programmed using the Logitech Gaming Software.

Especially convenient is the DPI selection button: In the software, you can set four custom DPI values between 200 and 8000 DPI for preferred mouse sensitivities and switch between them with a single click, depending on whether you need more precision or speed—without the hassle of navigating through Windows or game mouse settings. The configured settings for button assignments, DPI values, and more are stored in the mouse's memory.
