Product details

The HDMI 4K Audio Extractor can be used to extract audio from an HDMI signal. HDMI is passed through and forwarded to an HD display or projector. The extracted audio signal can be output to an AV receiver, speakers, or a soundbar as an analog stereo signal or as a digital Toslink or RCA coaxial signal. HDMI audio pass-through allows the audio signal to also be sent to the TV or projector. It supports HDTV resolutions up to UHD 4K, including Full HD and 1080p 3D. Audio output is available via TOSLink and coaxial (digital) as well as 3.5 mm stereo (analog).

Analog stereo output is only possible if the HDMI signal does not contain Dolby Digital, DTS, or multi-channel audio. Instead, a pure 2Ch LPCM HDMI audio signal is required for this.
