Product details

The T-Radar 24 GHz radar module from Lilygo is a state-of-the-art, ultra-compact device designed for motion and presence detection. It utilizes electromagnetic waves for contactless measurement of even the smallest movements, making it ideal for applications in smart lighting systems, security solutions, and energy-saving technologies. The module is not designed as a standalone microcontroller but connects to a host system such as an ESP32, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi board via UART or I2C. Operating at a frequency of 24 GHz in the ISM band, the T-Radar can accurately detect both fast movements and subtle micro-movements, such as breathing. The module has a range of up to 20 meters, with an optimal detection range between 0.2 and 6 meters, making it perfect for close-range applications and room monitoring. The serial interface allows for real-time output of distance, movement, and signal strength.

  • 24 GHz Doppler radar for precise motion and presence detection
  • Detects the smallest movements such as breathing and hand gestures
  • Real-time output via UART or I2C to microcontrollers
  • High sensitivity with minimal power consumption
  • Compact design for easy integration into various projects
  • Ideal for smart home, IoT, and security applications.
