The TOUGHpatch cables from the SLIM brand are a solution for various cabling issues. Although they visually resemble a flat ribbon cable, the TOUGHpatch cables achieve category 6 specifications, making them suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T applications, including Gigabit Ethernet. Remarkably, three SLIMpatch cables have the diameter of a single standard CAT6 patch cable. Despite their extremely thin design, the cable features twisted pairs for signal integrity. Additionally, it has a wide, flexible strain relief and a practical length marking on both ends, and it supports Power over Ethernet (PoE according to IEEE802.3af).
