LD Systems ZONE 423 2-Zone Mixer
The ZONE 423 is a fully equipped zone mixer with 4 line and 2 microphone channels that can be assigned to a master and a zone output, as well as inputs for an external emergency announcement system and remote mute control. With versatile connection options, this compact 2U rack device is the perfect control center for sound systems in hospitality, clubs, hotels, fitness centers, and is also excellent for presentations and DJs.
In addition to the two balanced microphone inputs with adjustable gain and talkover level, 12V phantom power, and a shared 3-band EQ, the ZONE 423 offers line, phono, and aux stereo connections in RCA format, a FOH input with balanced stereo jacks, as well as one USB and one 3.5 mm mini-jack connection. The USB port serves as a stereo input and output, allowing the mixer to be used as an external audio interface.
The four input channels feature individual gain controls with signal and peak level indicators, 45 mm faders for volume adjustment, and cue buttons. The master and zone sections each have their own sound control, balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, with the master output additionally featuring terminal block connections and the zone output having a mono sum button and a 100 Hz high-pass filter.
The stereo level meter can be assigned to either master or zone, and the maximum output level can be preset for both on the back of the mixer. In addition to an adjustable headphone output for monitoring, the ZONE 423 also includes a recording output.
