Fiber optic lines directly to the home (Fiber-to-the-Home / FTTH) offer higher speeds, more stable connections, and greater future-proofing compared to DSL lines. With the SFP transceiver module LANCOM SFP-AON-1, you can connect directly through your LANCOM gateway to an AON network (Active Optical Network) and utilize the fiber connection with speeds of up to 1 GBit/s. This eliminates the need for a separate provider modem, which would require complex cabling and power supply.
