The new V Series combines the best of the latest technologies with what has made KRK monitors the industry standard in professional studios over the past 30 years. The KRK V8 is a two-way, full-range reference monitor that delivers professional performance and absolute precision for recording, mixing, and mastering. It features a custom-designed 1" Kevlar tweeter and a lightweight, KRK proprietary woven 8" Kevlar woofer. By using Kevlar for both the woofer and the tweeter, the monitors produce silky highs, precise lows, and extremely dynamic and defined midrange reproduction without any coloration. Additionally, the monitors have a wide sweet spot and impressive spatial imaging. The KRK proprietary 230-watt Class-D amplifier allows for rapid transient response and up to 118 dB SPL. The enclosure with a front-facing bass reflex port prevents bass overlap when placed near walls, ensuring flexibility in placement. The V Series 4 offers a total of 14 user-selectable equalizer presets, providing 49 adjustment options to ensure perfect room integration, compensate for acoustically suboptimal placements, and tailor to individual preferences, as well as personal style or taste.
