Thanks to the raised screen frame, the display also serves as a footswitch and is easily readable in any situation due to the switchable Bright Mode. The Pitchblack XS features a bypass switch that toggles between True Bypass and Ultra Buffer. While the True Bypass mode ensures an authentic and completely unaltered signal, the Ultra Buffer mode supports the signal to maintain a strong and powerful sound even with long cables and effect chains. In each of the four display modes, the display blinks to ensure a more time-efficient tuning process.
