Korg nanoKEY2

The nanoKEY2 features an advanced and modern design. By combining the comfortable key action developed by Korg for its professional MIDI keyboards with the flat profile of new computer keyboards, the nanoKEY2 offers superior keyboard response for its class and size. It is designed with sufficiently wide keys and ample space between them, reducing the likelihood of hitting the wrong note. The key pressure and velocity response have been carefully calibrated to ensure that your expressive performance is accurately transmitted to your software.

The octave shift buttons, inherited from Korg's MIDI controllers, allow for shifting the overall pitch by four steps, either up or down, in octave increments. Combined with the key transposition function, the nanoKEY2 can access the entire range of MIDI notes. For enhanced performances, the nanoKEY2 also includes pitch bend buttons, a modulation button, and a sustain button, which are essential for playing on a piano or electric piano. For each of these buttons, the on/off switching speed can be set to four levels to ensure smooth transitions that match your performance.

Simply connect a single USB cable from your computer to the nanoKEY2, and you have a fast and portable music production system. Power and USB-MIDI data are transmitted through the same cable, creating a clean and efficient workspace. The nanoKEY2 works with the Korg Kontrol Editor software, which allows for detailed custom settings. Choose from a total of four velocity levels: three velocity curves or fixed velocity; set the control change messages transmitted by the modulation button and the sustain button.
