Korg MA-2

The card-shaped electronic metronome MA-1 has been significantly revised in many areas. The resulting MA-2 is simply indispensable for anything related to rhythmic precision. In addition to a tempo adjustment range and a variety of time signatures and rhythms, it offers user-friendly features such as a clearer display, a distinctly audible and defined sound, a new timer mode, and much more.

With its large display, the MA-2 focuses on perfect readability. The beat is indicated by a pendulum display on the screen and an acoustic signal. A triangle shows the current beat position and the timing in which the beats change. The MA-2 includes a newly developed speaker that provides more power, allowing it to stand out even against loud instruments and high frequencies.

The tempo can be set in three ways: in pendulum steps, like a mechanical metronome, in single steps, and using the Tap Tempo method by simply pressing a button at the desired tempo. Additionally, the time signature can be adjusted very flexibly - choose from 0-9 beats and one of eight rhythm types. This makes it easy to practice even complex passages accurately.

The tilt stand allows for stable and easily visible placement of the device. The battery compartment cover can be slid open and closed, but it is part of the casing and cannot be lost.
