The Keithley 7706 universal I/O module provides 20 channels of 2-pole or 10 channels of 4-pole multiplexer circuitry with integrated automatic cold junction compensation sensors, along with 2 analog output channels, 16 digital outputs, and an event counter/totalizer. While mixed signal measurements are made, the event counter/summator can be used to monitor and control system components such as lighting, limit switches, pass/fail indicators, external voltage sources, loads, door closures, and revolutions.
