Jinbei M-6

The Jinbei M-6 2-in-1 boom stand is an extremely stable steel lamp stand designed for professional photo and film studios. As a 2-in-1 stand, it functions both as a boom and a lamp stand.

With the M-6, you can achieve various lighting setups using studio flash units, flash heads, LED continuous lights, or spotlights. Whether positioned sideways, at an angle, or directly in front, high above, or low down, the tiltable boom arm allows you to quickly position your light in any orientation. The Jinbei M-6 serves as a lamp stand with a working height of up to four meters or as a boom stand for quick and versatile lighting setups. The extendable boom arm can be adjusted from 111.5 to 180 centimeters and conveniently stores in the center column when not in use. To use the studio stand as a boom, simply pull the arm completely out of the center column and move it 180 degrees up or down to the desired position.

All stand sections are spring-loaded and can be locked in place using sturdy steel screw locks. Double-braced middle struts provide additional stability to the stand legs. To prevent the steel stand from tipping under load, a sand-fillable bag serves as a counterweight at the end of the boom arm.

The Jinbei M-6 boom stand features a unique characteristic that expands its usability: one of the stand legs is adjustable in length, compensating for height differences on stairs, slopes, or uneven ground. With the three sturdy wheels included, the lamp stand becomes mobile, making it easier to rearrange a shooting setup. The stand glides smoothly across the studio floor with minimal effort. Robust locking brakes are provided to secure its position. For attaching flash units, continuous lights, spotlights, and other accessories, the M-6 steel stand is equipped with a connection socket with a diameter of 29.5 mm and a retractable 5/8 inch spigot.
