Product details
The iQunix A80 Explorer appears at first glance to be a relic from the past, reminiscent of the legendary IBM Model M. However, vintage is only the design; it is backed by cutting-edge technology combined with high-quality materials. The 80% layout is about 10 percent smaller than most mechanical TKL keyboards. The focus is on ergonomics, with a stepped structure that provides a great typing experience. The feet of the A80 have three positions: folded, half-extended, and fully extended. The premium PBT keycaps ensure high durability and excellent comfort under your fingers.
Various connection modes are available for the keyboard: via USB-C cable, Bluetooth 5.0, or the 2.4 GHz USB receiver with its sub-1ms response time. The rechargeable 4000 mAh battery lasts up to 200 days over Bluetooth with the backlight turned off and 60 days over the 2.4 GHz connection, based on five hours of daily use. The N-Key Rollover with Swift Response prevents both key ghosting and key jamming. Every keystroke is perfectly recognized, no matter how fast your actions are in-game. Another highlight is the excellent RGB backlighting, which offers virtually endless customization options through 7 modes. The iQunix A80 features a fully hot-swappable PCB, allowing you to easily change the switches and customize the keyboard to your liking. The A80 is compatible with macOS; hold FN+TAB for 5 seconds to switch between operating systems.
