The integrated Intel chipset 82599 offers excellent performance and ensures fast data throughput. Additionally, the ST-7211 further relieves the main processor, so that network transfers do not heavily tax the main processor, which is often the case when using standard network cards in a server environment. The connection is made via the fast SFP+ standard.
